"Played with delightful waspy sangfroid by Jennifer Dorr White."
-Exeunt Magazine

Jennifer Dorr White is a New York City-based actor with a car that allows her to travel to other working locations.

She received her MFA in Acting as a member of the inaugural class of the National Theatre Conservatory, after which she was thrilled to play Shakespearean roles such as Rosalind, Hermia and Lady Capulet. For the bulk of her career (so far) however, she has had the great pleasure of working on new plays. At this point, she is totally surprised to rehearse a play when the writer is not in the room and the play will not be largely rewritten before opening night. She is very proud to have copies of published plays with her name listed in the original cast.

Off-Broadway premieres include Matthew Paul Olmos’ three girls never learnt the way home (Cherry Lane), Rob Ackerman’s Call Me Waldo (Working Theatre), and Sinan Unel’s Pera Palas (Lark). Among her other NYC premieres are Kate Atwell’s Jesus in Manhattan (Ensemble Studio Theatre), Rob Ackerman’s Loyalty (Hudson Guild), Heidi Armbruster’s Every Good Girl Deserves Fun(Walkerspace/Clutch Productions), Jordan Seavey’s Children at Play (CollaborationTown) and Suzanne Bradbeer’s Full Bloom (Vital Theatre Company). She has done innumerable readings and workshops with Lark Play Development Center, E.S.T., Clutch, terraNova Collective, and other theatres. Regionally, she has worked at HartBeat Ensemble, Human Race Theatre Company, the Kitchen Theatre, and Denver Center Theatre Company, among others.

Jennifer played the title role in the film Congratulations Debby, and can also be seen in such films as Bastard, Stitches, Good Enough, Aaron Bacon, and A.B.C.D.  She has appeared on television in Law & Order: SVU, Blindspot, NOS4A2, and various commercials including an Acura spot with Gordon Ramsay that has been deemed by the CW Network to be one of the “Greatest Celebrity Commercials.” Her alter ego, Julianna McKannis, remains immortal on the Onion News Network.
